TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

The Software

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should make the platform set once it is live.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
